Rappelling, archery, and tours of local boutique wineries and cheese farms are also highly recommended.

The Ramon Crater

The Ramon Crater offers many thrilling hiking trails suitable for the whole family.

The Saw Mill trail includes a rare geographical phenomenon on the bottom of the Ramon Crater. The "Saw Mill" was created during an ancient volcanic eruption when magma penetrated a sandstone hill, melting the natural stone. As the sandstone cooled, symmetrical prisms were left behind, resembling the wooden boards found in a carpentry shop.

Alternatively, follow the ancient spice route on a trail connecting the Saharonim camping site to Ein Saharonim – through Nahal Ardon, Nahal Nekarot, Givat Herut, Ein Ardon and its dyke, and more.

Desert Sculpture Park

In the 1960s, Israeli artist Kosso Eloul organized a sculptor symposium in Israel, bringing together the finest Israeli and international artists

Using different types of rocks, brought in from all over Israel, nine sculptors created enduring monuments on the edge of the Ramon Crater, with the landscape's lines and characteristics in mind. The result was a captivating exhibit that naturally blended in with its surroundings. The remarkable Sculpture Park has become a destination for tourists and art-lovers alike.

The Desert Sculpture trail begins at the northeast corner of the hotel, next to the swimming pool.
